How does live percussion work alongside a DJ?
Live percussion is fully integrated into your DJ’s set - not layered on top randomly.
I work closely with your DJ in advance to understand the flow of the evening, key moments, and musical direction. On the night, I step in at the right points to lift the energy and move through the room - building momentum without overpowering the music.
It’s collaborative, seamless and timed with intention.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes.
I bring a professional, travel-ready percussion setup suitable for both roaming and static performances. Inc all microphones / XLSR cables.
Technical specifications are available in advance for planners and venues.
How many sets do you perform?
For the Evening Experience, I typically perform three 30-minute live sets across the night.
This allows space for the dance floor to build naturally, keeping energy levels dynamic rather than constant.
Timing is always tailored to your schedule.
How far in advance should we book?
Prime dates - especially summer and destination weekends - are secured well in advance.
If you’re considering live percussion for your event, I recommend checking availability as early as possible.
Do you perform during the ceremony
or drinks reception?
Yes - where appropriate.
While my core offering focuses on the evening celebration, I can provide tailored live percussion for welcome drinks, pool parties, beach clubs, or curated daytime moments.
Every part of the day is considered carefully to suit the setting and atmosphere.
